SIT-STAND INSTALLATION & TRAINING SERVICE
At risk of saying ‘I told you so’…! You may well have read one of my rants about the need for proper training when installing sit-stand desks – and the risks of wasting money without it. As the message about sit-stand furniture spreads (and the box-shifters start to appear), we are beginning to receive ‘can you help?’ calls from employers who have a sit-stand desk or adaptor and don’t really know what to do with it! Typically, this may have been a maverick purchase outside the proper procurement channels. To meet this need, we are now offering full installation, set-up and training as a stand-alone service at a very competitive rate. This is also appropriate as refresher training for established users. Contact the Customer Service team for more information
ADVANCED DSE ASSESSOR TRAINING
We shall be running a two day course in London on January 26th and 27th, 2016. This is a high quality, interactive programme delivered in partnership with Human Applications. As well as covering the essential legislative elements and processes, there are hands-on opportunities with products. The course content can be found here. CHAIR INSTRUCTIONS
We are in the process of refreshing our chair instruction pdfs. All our chair manufacturing partners provide their own instructions but they vary considerably in design and clarity. For consistency, all our in-house instructions follow the protocol we use when showing a user how to set up their workstation. If you are sitting on a chair we supplied, just check the serial number label under the seat and email us for the latest instructions.
TABLET USE QUESTIONNAIRE
We shall be closing this at the end of November so there is still time to provide information if you have not already done so. If you use a tablet (for business or pleasure – or both), please take a few minutes to help us here. Participants will all be entered in a draw to win a TabletRiser and Mboard 870 Bluetooth mini keyboard (which will be delivered before Christmas). We shall publish the results in the January eBulletin.
