ANOTHER YEAR OVER

years-onAs we end 2014, I thank you sincerely for your support, interest and custom and look forward to developing our contact further in the years to come. We have had a very satisfying year, strengthening our existing relationships, developing new services and introducing many new customers. As the workplace continues to change at an unprecedented pace, we have exciting plans for the future and I hope you will continue to find this newsletter a valuable source of information about international trends and opportunities in workplace ergonomics.

NEW YEAR PRICE CHANGES

price-changeAs the economy strengthens, we see that most of our supply partners are increasing prices from January 1st. However, there is still time to act if you are planning purchases in the New Year. Requesting a quotation now will secure current pricing for 60 days. For larger project discussions, please contact your account manager or the Customer Service team.

DXT2 MOUSE UPGRADED

dxt-mouseDemand for the DXT Ergonomic Mouse continues to grow and the latest model has been significantly enhanced. New features include an on-off switch to preserve the battery life of the wireless model and soft-touch buttons for both versions. Packaging has also been improved – and there is a Bluetooth model on the way in 2015!

ERGOEXPO & CONFERENCE

ergo-expoThe recent Las Vegas ergonomics conference was the largest in its 20 year history. In my view, there was also a significant move beyond the focus on products. In his opening keynote presentation, Professor William Marras talked about the importance of human factors alongside the physical ergonomics and this theme was reflected in other sessions, including mine! You can find a copy of my presentation and the associated resources here.

EBULLETIN ANNIVERSARY WINNERS

ebulletin-winnerLast month, we featured a competition to guess the number of hyperlink click-throughs in the 5-year life of this eBulletin. Thank you to those who took part. Answers ranged from 5 to 1,000,000 but the actual answer was 22669! The five winners who guessed closest to the correct figure were: Amanda Chapman, Andy Ludlow, Carolyn Kenney, Jim O’Donaghue and Pauline Cole. There is a Fitbit Flex lifestyle wristband on the way to each of them.

CHRISTMAS CARDS

xmas-cards… or rather, the lack of them. We are supporting Street Smart again this year and have made a donation instead of sending cards. This charity raises money in November and December each year to support local homeless groups. You may also come across it in restaurants where a £1 donation added to your bill goes directly to their causes.
